VOLT ATEX Switchbox

Our VOLT ATEX Position Monitoring Switchbox is a rotary type position indicator; designed to integrate a valve and pneumatic actuator with a variety of internal switches or sensors. Suitable for small size pneumatic actuators the ATEX switchbox offers mechanical, low cost single pole, double throw plated contact switching with an operating life of 100,000 cycles.

Inductive sensors are suitable for computer input circuits and general purpose applications with an operating life of 5 million cycles.

APL switchboxes also benefit from hermetically sealed proximity switches.

• APL 510: ATEX 2 x microswitches and 2 x SPDT switches - II 2G Ex d IIC T6 Gb
• APL 520: ATEX proximity 2 x 2-wire proximity sensors - spring loaded cams - II 2G Ex ia IIC T6 Gb
• Material: Die Cast Aluminium with Stainless Steel shaft.
• Enclosure finish: Polyester power coating (Black).
• Ambient temperature: -20°C to +80°C and -20°C to +60°C.
• ATEX Gases & Dust Rated
• II 2D Ex tb IIIC T85°C Db IP67
