Our IFM ATEX Inductive Sensor Kit for Valve Actuators is suitable for hazardous areas and includes the IFM NN505A Inductive Sensor with Actuator Interface Connection and Target Puck (a choice of 80/30 or 130/30 size).
The valve sensor consists of two inductive sensors on top of each other in one housing. Depending on the orientation of the target puck, the upper or lower sensor switches. This allows the system to operate without contact and is free of wear, ensuring maximum reliability and long service life.
The Actuator Interface Connection on the sensor allows direct triggering of the pilot solenoid valve from the sensor.
The Target Pucks are available in two sizes (80/30mm and 130/30mm). The 80/30 version is designed for shaft heights of 30mm or 20mm (using supplied adaptor) and the 130/30 is designed for shaft heights of 30mm.
Due to the standardised mechanical dimensions and hole centres the sensors and target pucks can be installed of all common actuators.
